Carpet cleaning

Spilled cherry cough medicine on carpet. Used pro resolve with scrubbing brush. Most of it came out. Ordered folex cleaner to try to get rid of the rest of the stain completely. Did not try it. What is the best way to get rid of this carpet stain completely. What is the best cleaner to use on this? Also, is a scrubbing brush good enough to remove stain or is something else needed to remove stain completely? Thank you for your help.

I would think that if all the cough medicine is removed. Then you're dealing with the red dyei personally would first colorfast test if ok them mist(thats mist, not spray,not saturate, MIST) hydrogen peroxide on it, lightly rub it in and cover with plastic wrap after dried see if any change, if lighter,repeat process till gone. If that doesn't work cti pros choice has red relief . A 2 part system that requires a steamer to activate
